TEN SUGGESTS TO IMPORT CORRECTLY FROM STUDIOTOOLS TO MAX |

STEP 1 - Starting with a well modelled shape
|

STEP 2 - Check normals and unify it
|
|
STEP 3 - Stitch the model You can select all the model before stitch single layer or shapes.
|
|
STEP 4 - Click on the little box beside "save as" and choose .IGES file
|
|
STEP 5 - Check .IGES options Defualt it's good. Sometimes can be useful rebuild the geometry
|
|
STEP 6 - Make "import" in max and select .IGES files
|
|
STEP 7 - Analyze the model in max check if it's ok and if meshes are close enough.
|
|
STEP 8 - come back to studiotools, unstitch shapes wich need to be more subdivided, improve geometry subdivisions with spans and degree
|
|
STEP 9 - import definitively |
